CO2 Controls

PPM-2A - "The Fuzzy"

People who need the absolute best CO2 controller available today, use the PPM-2a from C.A.P. What sets the PPM-2a apart from the competition? Fuzzy Logic(tm)... Fuzzy Logic(tm) can be compared to a good driver. As a good driver approaches a red light, he or she applies the brakes to gradually slow down BEFORE getting to the intersection. Fuzzy Logic(tm) uses the same idea to bring the CO2 level up to the desired setting without over-shooting the desired CO2 level. The PPM-2a automatically "dials-in" the exact parameters for your area. It learns how your grow area uses CO2 and adapts to keep the CO2 levels constant. The PPM-2a can be connected to a temperature or environmental controller, disabling the CO2 function while your exhaust fans are running to reduce CO2 waste. The PPM-2a is capable of being used to control both compressed CO2 and gas-burning CO2 generators. When used with a CO2 generator, the user can change the PPM-2a mode to ON / OFF control which eliminates the rapid cycling of the CO2 generator. The PPM-2a will control any make of CO2 valve or generator that is 120 volts.

PPM-3 CO2 Monitor/Controller

The PPM-3 from C.A.P. is the most affordable and simple CO2 controller available. Its' proven technology is very accurate at measuring levels of Carbon Dioxide in your growing area from 0 to 5000 ppm (Parts-Per-Million). Using the PPM-3 is quite simple. Just plug your CO2 device (CO2 valve or generator) into the "piggyback" cord and it will automatically maintain the CO2 level that you specify. The PPM-3 works with any make of CO2 valve or generator that is 120 volt.

C.A.P. CO2-2 Controller

The CO2-2 has two timers that are used to add just the right amount of CO2 without the wasteful "overshoot" that other controllers have. One timer controls the length of time the CO2 is released and the other controls how often the CO2 is released. The result is a very efficient method of controlling CO2. It also features temperature and humidity controls which will disable CO2 injection if the temperature or humidity levels that you specify are exceeded, activating an exhaust outlet which can control ventilation equipment (air conditioner, fan, etc.) It also has a built in photo controller, which disables the CO2 function when the lights are off. The CO2-2 can be converted to PPM level accuracy with the addition of the PPM-1c CO2 sensor. The CO2-2 is rated for 15 amps @ 120 volts.

C.A.P. CO2-4 Controller

The CO2-4 has four timers that are used to control your CO2. In addition to all the features of the CO2-2, the CO2-4 adds two additional internal timers. The "Overall Cycle timer" allows the user to decide how long the supplemental CO2 is kept in the growing area prior to being exhausted. When the "Overall Cycle" time expires, the CO2-4 turns ON the exhaust outlets and enables the "Exhaust Cycle Timer", which controls the amount of time the exhaust fans will run. When complete, the cycle is reset and the CO2 cycle starts again. The CO2-4 can also be used with the PPM-1c sensor for unequalled Parts-Per-Million performance. The CO2-4 is rated for 15 amps @ 120 volts.

C.A.P. PPM-1c CO2 Monitor

The PPM-1c is an extremely accurate CO2 sensor. It measures the exact level of CO2 in your growing area and displays this value from 0 to 5000 Parts-Per-Million (PPM) on its' digital readout. Even though the PPM-1c can be used as a simple way to measure your CO2 level, the true potential of the PPM-1c is not realized until it is connected to one of the controllers C.A.P. has designed to work with it. When the PPM-1c is connected to either the CO2-2, CO2-4 or CGC-1 it commands the controllers to release or produce more CO2 only when required. The timers built into the atmosphere controllers continue to coordinate with the PPM-1c to give you the precision control not possible with other manufacturers CO2 control systems using only ON/OFF control. You enter the exact level of CO2 you want to maintain (usually 1500 PPM) and you're done.

AIR-3 Temperature/Humidity/CO2 Controller

The AIR-3 expands our line of atmospheric controllers by providing the ability to coordinate supplemental CO2 with your ventilation equipment. The AIR-3's operation is similar to the AIR-1, with the addition of a photo cell and CO2 outlets. The photo cell ensures that your CO2 device (CO2 valve or generator) only activates when your lights are on. To conserve CO2, the CO2 outlets are automatically disabled while your ventilation equipment is running. The AIR-3 is rated for 15 amps @ 120 volts.

AIR-4 Temperature/Humidity CO2 Controller

The AIR-4 has all the features of the AIR-3 with the addition of independent temperature and humidity controls. It also has an increased power capacity to control up to 15 amps of equipment. An additional outlet is provided which will power equipment only during the 'day' cycle. Features include independent temperature and humidity control, coordinated CO2 sequencing and an additional outlet that is powered only while the lights are on. The AIR-4 is rated for 15 amps @ 120 volts.

Hydrofarm CO2 (.2-2 cubic feet per hour) with Timer

CO2 is an odorless, invisible, and non-flammable gas. It is also safe for humans in the maximum concentrations recommended for plant growth. The average level of CO2 in the atmosphere is about 300 PPM (parts per million). If the level decreases down below 200 PPM in an enclosed growing area, plant growth slows to a halt. Through the years of testing and research, the optimum enrichment level of CO2 for plant growth has been agreed to be about 1500 PPM. With CO2 enrichment, under good conditions, plant growth rates and flowering will increase 20-100%. CO2 can be used from seedling right through harvest.
