Enhancements
B-52
B-52 was designed to help boost the metabolism of the plant through vital B vitamins and crucial amino acids that are essential for optimum growth. Also B-52 has the added benefit of several naturally occurring hormones. In simple terms you will notice a faster growing plant when using B-52 than any other B vitamin product on the market. You can use B-52 as a foliar spray and a drench.
Key Hint: if stretching is desired in the first two weeks of the flowering cycle you should leave this product out for those first two weeks. If stretching is not a desired characteristic then it will help keep the plant shorter. B-52 will also increase lateral growth of the plant because of specific B vitamins.
Barricade
Barricade is a Potassium Silicate. The difference between our silicate and other manufactures is that the other manufacturers dilute theirs. We do not believe in taking money from people when you should not. Advanced Nutrients leaves their product as concentrated as it can be! By giving the grower a more concentrated product for a cheaper application rate than our competitors, the grower gets extra money back in their pocket to buy other enhancements from this superior line. By doing this the grower, retailer, Gotta Grow, and Advanced Nutrients are making the most money possible.
Silicates make the cell walls of plants thicker and stronger. The product will also increase the size of the vascular system of the plant. The thicker the cell wall the stronger the plant will be, also an enlarged vascular system can take up more water and nutrients resulting in a bigger, healthier, higher yielding plant. Simply put, the bigger vascular the system the more potential the plant has for maximum yield. You will notice a great benefit from using this product. All the way through from seed, to cutting, to harvest. Barricade can be used as a foliar spray as well.
Key hint: when using this product add it to your reservoir first before any anything else.
Big Bud
Big Bud is a flowering enhancement that was specifically formulated for the middle of the flowering cycle. Big Bud was engineered by Dr. Hornby, one of the worlds leading authorities on fertilizer and amino acid uptake of plants. This product is a high P/K fertilizer enhancement that is coupled with superior amino acids (28 to be exact). Not only do we have great amino acids but the Potassium levels of the product are 75% higher than the Phosphorous. Through our R&D we have discovered that plants use Potassium more than any other element in solution. We are the only manufacturer that has the exact levels of Potassium for optimum growth. This product will help the plant take advantage of the large root system that the Bud Blood helped to grow. While also growing a large strong frame with more flowering sites than your eyes will believe. This is the second step to having a large yielding plant. There is no sense in having a heavy yielding plant if the frame can not support the load of the fruit and then be forced to break its stem in the sixth or seventh week of flowering. Use Big Bud to help your plant carry the load that will come in the weeks to follow.

Bud Blood
Bud Blood was designed specifically for the first week of flowering. Through Advanced Nutrients R&D we have found that plants appreciate different levels of different minerals throughout the flowering cycle. This product will induce your plants into flower faster (5-9 days you will see flower set rather than typically 10-14 days) as well as it will help grow a large root system. If you want a large plant then you must have a large root system to sustain the water and fertilizer uptake it will need to be large. A plant can only be as big as the root system can sustain. Having said this, if you want a large plant the first step is having a large healthy root system. Roots are grown with three base elements (Oxygen, Phosphorus, and Potassium). You supply the Oxygen via the aeration in your media and leave the Phosphorus and Potassium to the Bud Blood.
Key Hint: to using this product is to dissolve the Bud Blood in a container of water before adding to the reservoir.
Carbo Load
Carbo Load was specifically designed with two reasons in mind. Increase the brix (sugar/starch) content of the plant and be a food source for the biological products (Piranha and Tarantula). We formulated this product by analyzing thousands of plants to find out what specific sugar molecules they consisted of naturally. Then we averaged them all out and formulated Carbo Load. By feeding plants the exact same sugars that they consist of they have no choice but to be healthier and have sweeter tasting fruit and more aromatic flowers. So not only does this product make plants fruit taste better and your flowers more aromatic, healthier, and more robust, but it is also a food source for Piranha and Tarantula.
Key hint: for optimum growth, and bang for your buck out of Piranha and Tarantula use Carbo Load. This product should be used throughout the entire life of the plant from rooted clone to harvest. When using the powder version of this product dissolve the powder in a container of water before adding it to the reservoir.
Colossal Bud Blast
Colossal Bud Blast is another fine product made by none other that Dr. Hornby. This product is 100% organic and was designed to be a foliar spray for flowering plants. This product contains multiple transfectants (wetting agents) to ensure complete absorption of all organic nutrients and hormones that are in this product. Many of our competitors foliar spray products only have wetting agents in them and a few trace elements. Colossal Bud Blast has a vast array of macro nutrients, micronutrients, and multiple wetting agents. A foliar application of Colossal Bud Blast will increase flower and fruit growth above and beyond what fertilizers applied via the root zone can do (nutrients are more available to the plant through the stomata on the plants leaves).
Key Hint: this product works very well when applied along with Emerald Shaman. The two together will result in the most dynamic foliar spray for flowering that is available on the international fertilizer market.
Emerald Shaman
Emerald Shaman is yet again, one more excellent product that Dr. Hornby has made. This product consists of ingredients that cannot be matched. It consists of 88 different extracts from certified organic botanicals, fruits, and vegetables. Dr. Hornby has been working on this product through extensive research and development for many years to get the exact amount of each extract perfect. There is no product on the international market that is competitive to Emerald Shaman.
Each and every plant that was used in this product has been carefully selected for its unique bio-chemical profile. The natural defenses and growth promoting agents of these plants are blended and double fermented over a three month process for the strongest possible extraction of beneficial compounds. This rich mixture of bio-active compounds creates a living bio-culture that will energize your plants by providing enzymes, nutrients, cellular messengers, and other growth promoters, directly to your plants leaves and roots to accelerate cellular division and increase total plant vigor. In various herb, flower, and food crops where taste and texture is important, Final Phase removes fertilizer residues from the root zone allowing the plants to digest stored nutrients and increase carbohydrate levels, giving your crop the best taste possible.
Key Hint: use this product in the last week of flowering to ensure the healthiest and best tasting crops. Also, you can use this product periodically throughout the flowering cycle to ensure that salt build up is eliminated.
Grandma Enggy’s Fulvic Acid
Grandma Enggy’s Fulvic Acid is superior to any other Fulvic Acid on the market for the following reasons: the quality of a Fulvic Acid is determined by the nanometer size of the molecule, the smaller it is the better is works. Simply put, the Fulvic Acid that we manufacture has a smaller molecule than our competitor. In addition other manufacturers water their Fulvic Acids down; again we leave ours as pure and concentrated as possible. Grandma Enggy’s Fulvic Acid is more cost effective to use dollar per application rate that any other manufacturer’s Fulvic Acid on the market. Fulvic Acid will help with the uptake of many different nutrients, not to mention that it will also speed up cell division in the plant as well as help to expand root growth faster than it would on its own.
Key Hint: you can use Fulvic Acid with any foliar spray to help the plant absorb more nutrients.
Grandma Enggy’s Humic Acid
Grandma Enggy’s Humic Acid is the purest source of Humic Acid that is available on the international market. Humic Acid will increase the water retaining value of soil and soilless substrates, and helps the plant convert minerals into absorbable elements, encourages horizontal growth of the plant, as well it acts as an organic catalyst. All of this helps a plant become healthier than it could on its own. This is one more product to help the grower achieve optimum growth.
Key Hint: due to the fact that Humic Acid is a very viscous product it should not be used in systems that have small drip feed tubing as it has a tendency of clogging small drippers and emitters. Also, Humic Acid should not be used in a hydroponic system that is solely water based (aeroponics, deep water culture, NFT, or Ebb and Flow) because it again can clog small parts.
Jump Start
Jump Start was designed to improve your plants rooting capabilities. Jump Start can be used as a foliar spray or as a drench. For best results you can do both. You can also use Jump Start on your mother plants a few days before you take the cuttings to get a systemic build up inside the plant so that when you do take your cuttings they root faster to begin with. Jump start is not a rotting gel or dip. For best results use your normal rooting dip or gel in conjunction with foliar treatments of Jump Start.
Key Hint: you can apply this product every day until they have rooted. You can also use Jump Start when you transplant your plants into a larger container as well.
Mother Earth Organic Super Teas
 
Mother Earth Super Tea Grow and Bloom were designed to compliment the entire 2+ system. Through our research and development we have found that for 100% of optimum growth growers should be using a hybrid formula of synthetic, biological, and organic ingredients. This product was designed to be the organic link in the chain of optimum growth. We have made a vegetative formula, and a flowering formula for this product. MEST Grow and Bloom consists of a blend of superior guanos, worm castings, and many other organic ingredients in the exact amounts that are needed for optimum yield. MEST Grow and Bloom not only ensure that the organic link in our fertilizers is addressed but they also encourage the growth of all the fungi, bacteria, enzymes, and microbes that are in our biological products (Piranha, Tarantula, Voodoo Juice, and Sensizym).
Key Hint: MEST can also be used as an organic Base Nutrient at 2-4 times the regular application rate if desired. Also, MEST can be used at ½ strength of label rate as a foliar spray.
Overdrive
Overdrive is a product that was engineered for the late flowering cycle. This again is a high P/K product that is superior to any other flowering enhancement. The Potassium levels are 25% higher than the Phosphorus in this product. As well, this product has citric acid, ascorbic acid, and an array of food grade hormones that are specific to late flowering. Overdrive is going to pay compliment to the previous two flowering enhancements. By taking advantage of the large root system that the Bud Blood helped grow, also it will use the large strong frame that the Big Bud helped grow by filling in all of those flowering sites and packing on maximum girth as well as driving the essential oil production of the plant through the roof. This is the third and last flowering enhancement is in our suggested formula. If you use all three of these (Bud Blood, Big Bud, and Overdrive) you will see growth that your eyes will not believe. Again, the reason that we have these three flowering supplements is simply to maximize the genetic potential of all plants no matter what type of fruiting or flowering plant you are growing.
Piranha
Piranha Beneficial Fungi will assist plant growth by improving the development of a strong, expansive root zone. Piranha contains 26 types of beneficial fungi, including eight species of Trichoderma (disease fighting fungi) and 18 species of Ecto Mycorrhizea and Endo Mycorrhizea fungi. Drawing on thousands of studies that detail the importance of mycorrhizal fungi, Dr. Hornby's further research found that such fungi excrete powerful chemicals that dissolve nutrients, absorb water, and promote soil porosity. Such actions greatly assist the development of root mass, nutrient absorption, and water absorption, via the symbiotic relationship between the plant, its roots, and the fungi.
In nature, the beneficial fungi found in Piranha contribute to healthy soil and plants that are able to resist drought, stress, and other problems that deter plant growth. Dr. Hornby's studies and field tests prove Piranha helps plants establish fruits and flowers faster, in greater abundance, and with increased yield. Piranha gives your plants a natural advantage not often found in modern growing situations, especially when growers are working indoors. If you want a healthy, large, and an incredible yielding plant, the first step is to focus on the root system. The plant can only be as healthy and large as the root system can sustain. I’ll say it again, if you want a large, healthy, and a heavy yielding plant the first step is focusing on the root system. Piranha will not only increase the growth of the root system but it will also keep it free from harmful root diseases.
Key Hint: apply this product twice during the vegetative phase and once per week in the first two weeks of flowering. Carbo Load is the food source for the fungi in Piranha and should be applied weekly to ensure a long life of all the beneficial fungi.
Revive
Revive is the ultimate tool to keep in your plant repair kit for treating the underlying causes of “yellow plant syndrome”. When environmental stress (such as excessive humidity or over-watering) brings on chlorosis (yellowing between leaf veins) or a loss of the rich green color in your leaves, a foliar application of Revive will immediately breathe new chlorophyll into your plants. No more guessing which element lost its availability. Revive contains one macronutrient and four of the most important micronutrients to correct general yellowing of stressed plants all in a chelated and readily available form. Revive is especially helpful when applied via foliar to cuttings after they have rooted and been removed from the higher humidity levels of a cloning environment. Use Revive on your sick, pale plants for the quickest recovery to a greener tomorrow.
Key Hint: Revive can also be used in your reservoir to correct deficiencies. For optimum results you should use Revive along with Emerald Shaman for a foliar spray that can not be beaten.
Scorpion Juice
Scorpion Juice is another one of Dr. Hornby’s products that is sure to amaze you. Scorpion Juice induces Systemic Acquired Resistance (SAR) in plant cells that acts as a vaccination for your plants. During their evolution, plants have developed a series of complex defense systems to fight pathogen invasions. Plants have both constitutive and induced mechanisms that aid them in their defense against diseases. Scorpion Juice triggers this defense mechanism in plants. Once this mechanism is triggered, the plant quickly builds an immune response to a diverse variety of pathogens including viruses, fungi, and bacteria. This immunity response is particularly noticed in diacious plants which show substantial increases in yield when the plants defense mechanism is activated. In addition, a marked increase in flower production, flower size and essential oil fragrance can also be seen. Scorpion Juice also enhances general stress resistance and is great for helping protect plants against frost damage when you’re trying to extend your season as far as it will go.
Key Hint: through many field trials Scorpion Juice has been proven to be a great aid in fighting powdery mildew and the gray mold botrytis (bud rot). Scorpion Juice can be applied via foliar for a cost effective application.
Sensizym
Sensizym is a super concentrate of over 80 different enzymes, each having specific functions that enhance plant and root growth. Sensizym breaks down dead root mass, starches, carbohydrates, and nutrients which accelerate plant growth as well as assist beneficial Bacteria growth. Sensizym enzymes help to catalyze water and assist the transfer of water elements to specific sites. Other enzymes speed up the regulatory process within the plant, and still other enzymes help in cell replication. We have conducted extensive research to develop an enzyme product that has a stable shelf life (18 months). We analyzed all our competitor’s products and found that several had totally inactive enzymes due to their very short shelf life. Enzymes are measured in units of activity. Sensizym has the highest units of activity, in fact, three times as many as our nearest competitor. All the competitor’s enzyme products are made for breaking down of dead root material. Sensizym does this as well but also provides enzymes that are a catalyst for total plant and root development. This product should be used during the entire lifespan of the plant for optimum growth.
Key Hint: you can reuse your soil or soilless medium if you flush your media to the point that the drain water is below 850 PPM and then do an application at double strength and let sit for 3 days. The enzymes will break down all of the dead roots turning them into humate nitrogen which is a food source for your new crop. Then you will reap all of the benefits of the biological activity that you already invested in from the last crop.
Tarantula
Tarantula is a new break-through product for soil and hydroponic growing mediums. Tarantula is a bacterial blend of 57 microorganisms, with 1.4 billion Colony Forming Units (CFU) per gram. This gives Tarantula the highest concentration of microorganisms of any plant growth product in the world. This rich blend of microorganisms contains Bacillus, Streptomycetes, Actinomycetes, and Pseudomonas for massive plant growth. This mixture of diverse and extremely rich microorganisms forms a symbiotic relationship between the plant’s root zone in the rhizsosphere. This produces extremely healthy, strong plants, and superior root systems making the plants able to sustain many different types of stresses produced by the variables of nature. Not to mention that some of the bacteria in Tarantula also prevent and fight root diseases eliminating any type of root rot brought on by bad bacteria and fungus.
Key Hint: this product should be used in conjunction with the Piranha for optimum root development and an optimum yielding plant. Again, Carbo Load is the food source for the bacteria in Tarantula and should be applied weekly to ensure a long life of all the beneficial bacteria.
Voodoo Juice
Voodoo Juice was engineered by two of our PhD scientists. It consists of five different microbes that are essential for explosive yields. One of these microbes is a nitrogen fixing microbe that basically makes the nitrogen source more available to the plant to keep it dark green all the way through the growing cycle. Not only does it have a nitrogen fixer but it also has four other microbes that will break down complex fertilizer molecules to make them readily available to the plant, the best way to describe this is when looking at the microbial process under a microscope the microbes basically melt micronutrient molecules so the plant can uptake them without exerting any extra effort. You only need to use this product twice in a vegetative cycle and then twice in the flowering cycle. You will notice explosive root growth when using this product during rooting as well. This product will result in a very noticeable difference within days of applying it. Every liter of Voodoo Juice contains 50 billion microbes.
Key Hint: this product has nitrogen in it as a food source for the microbes; this is how it can maintain a two-year shelf life. Having said this you may notice an ammonia smell, but rest assured that this is a good thing.
Very High Output (VHO)
Very High Output is a product that is designed to be used ONLY as a foliar spray in the vegetative growth phase. VHO consists of three different nitrates. Through extensive research Advance Nutrients has found that plants appreciate nitrate nitrogen more than ammoniacal nitrogen when you are trying to obtain the fastest, thickest vegetative growth possible. When using this product you will notice that you can actually shorten the vegetative phase by as much as 25%. For example, if your growth phase is 4 weeks for your starter plants then you can shorten it to three weeks. You can also use this product on mother plants to help push new tissue out faster than you can with root zone feeding of base fertilizers, in the end giving you a plethora of cuttings quicker.
